YMCA of Snohomish County and Community Health Plan of Western Washington partnered with us this year to bring our 8th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival, Raíces Latinas, and National Night Out Against Crime.

Cinco de Mayo is an annual event held the first Saturday of every May. We partner with different agencies and organizations in the community to provide a family-friendly event where individuals of all ages can have a fun and educational experience.

Raíces Latinas is a youth program normally held every summer for Latino youth between the ages of 10 and 14. We also like to encourage older teens to help as volunteers to help build positive leadership skills that they can implement later in their communities. This year we partnered with YMCA of Mukilteo and were able to use all of the facility to promote healthy lifestyles.

National Night Out is a national event held the first Tuesday of August every year. South Everett Neighborhood Center is the head organizer for this event. We have had over 500 participants enjoy the community party getting access to local community resources and students receive back-to-school supplies after learning about the importance of safety in the home and community.

Raza Sin Humo is Facebook page on anti-tobacco program we have for youth. We welcome the community to share their thoughts and feelings regarding tobacco in their communities. Become a fan and you can share pictures of YOUR community, both positive and negative images.
